WSO Board/Committees
Whitestone Oaks HOA Board
What are the responsibilities of the HOA Board?
The purpose of the Board is to represent the interests of the owners as those interests relate to the property. The Board is responsibility for making decisions on behalf on the owners with regard to common areas, budget, reserve fund and compliance to HOA Governing Documents (DCCRs and Bylaws).
Key things for this Board.
The current Board wants to be open and transparent with the community and wants the community to be aware of what is going on and their opinions. One way to get opinions is to use “Surveymonkey”. Expect to get surveys from us.
How can I contact the HOA Board?
The HOA Board email is wsohoa@gmail.com. For most issues concerning the Whitestone Oaks community, RealManage is the first point of contact. If you want to volunteer for a Whitestone Oaks committee or have an idea for the neighborhood, contact the Board.
Whitestone Oaks Committees
Whitestone Oaks Social Committee
The WSO Social Committee organizes such activities as the July 4th parade, National Night out, Empty Nesters activities, Fall Fest as well as other activities for the Whitestone Oak community.
The WSO Social Committee can be contacted via email at: wsosocialcommittee@gmail.com
Members of the Social Committee are volunteers appointed by the HOA Board and serve for a term of one or two years.
WSO Yard of the Month
The Yard of the Month Committee is another set of volunteers appointed by the Board (one or two year terms) that review all the homes in the neighborhood and award the “Yard of the Month” to the best looking home, yard, landscape, etc. throughout the year.
We hope all residents keep beautiful yards and that the competition is tough.
Volunteers are always needed
Any WSO resident who is interested in being considered for any committee assignment is encouraged to contact the WSO Board.
Residents are also encouraged to volunteer for one-time activities and events.
More Committees?
The HOA board can create other committees as needed. If you have an idea, let the Board know.
Architectural Control Committee (ACC)
All modifications to the exterior of a home are subject to approval by the ACC. The Architectural Requirements define an architectural modification as "any exterior home or landscape improvements." To submit for approval, you can log in to the RealManage Portal and fill out an Architectural Approval Request Form.
